The use of wobble stools for this project will help my students become more engaged while working in the classroom. These stools will allow for a more comfortable, engaging environment within my classroom especially in math and literacy. Using the guided math approach, students come to the table with stools for guided practice and independent practice. The stools will allow the students to move a little, while still being engaged in learning. Also during the Daily 5 approach the students engage in reading, writing and word work activities. The wobble stools will keep them engaged and learning the skills needed to become an independent learner.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Students will be able to simply focus on the math and literacy standards and have the opportunity to release energy at the same time!
