I am leaving my charter school and moving into a Chicago Public School. I have not had the pleasure of meeting my new students yet, but I am thrilled to meet them knowing what I do. I will be teaching four sections of Language Arts/Writing for grades 6-8.
After looking at my school's report card, I have discovered that 95% of the students at my school are African American or Hispanic and 93.5 of our students come from low income homes. They need technology to grow and diverse books that will get them excited about learning
