This project is something that I try and do every year, but this year it may not work out and the kids and I are bummed out about it. I sent my order in for wire supplies and the P.O. was inaccurately placed and we will not be getting our supplies on time to complete this project or possibly ever. Any help that we can get is more than appreciated.
My students need tie wire, wire cutters, and jewelry wire to create wire sculptures. They saw the success from the classes prior to them and saw how the students won awards in district shows for their wire sculptures and were excited to give this project a shot until I had to break the news to them that they may not get that opportunity this year due to finances. The students will use their observation skills to create a plan and a blueprint of how they will create a sculpture out of wire and will then have to put their plan into action. Normally this project is not a problem, but struggling for funds for the materials for this project have caused some delays. I wish this was not the case, but I am reaching out to anybody who is willing to help us out in any way they can.
