I have one of the most engaged group of students, willing to give it their all as they strive to learn, through masks, social and emotional challenges, and at times over distances that could separate any other class, but not this class. Every day, they come in, tackle each learning situation with vigor and enthusiasm, and with only some mild complaining, serve as a constant motivating force for the other grade levels, from our small pre-schoolers and kindergarteners to our ever-growing fifth graders. These 4th graders are an ever visible source of encouragement throughout our school, and it fills my heart as their teacher, with a joy that frankly sustains me when the days, weeks, and months seem to drag on, and when the challenges become challenging. Yet, the rewards of being an educator resurface when I see their smiling faces, our bright, future world leaders. So it is with great pride I share them with you!
