I am a "techie" and my goal is to make my students technology masterminds! Coming into a tech classroom in a low-income school means most of the students do not have the technology at home but are enthusiastic to learn about it in class.
I teach reading and language arts to two groups of energetic and enthusiastic third-grade students.
We are a title 1 school meaning most of our students are low income and their first language is a language other than English. I also teach ESL students (English as a Second Language). The students will learn English in my class. Many of my students come in below level, and it is our goal to bridge the gap!
