This year, I have changed my focus. Instead of educating my scholars holistically, I've taken more of an individual approach. In my 8 years of teaching I've learned that children learn best when academics are geared to the individual learning needs. I've found this approach to be quite successful.
So I need your help! Please assist by donating to obtain invigorating, manipulatives that'll help make learning fun. My students know multiplication facts and the distributive property but, using a game like Smath or Multiplication Tower along with other hands on and visuals such as wipe board will help better their memory and give them the opportunity to enjoy Math, while learning.
Math is the subject that opens an outlet for many other careers like engineers, architects, chemist, accountants, and physicians. If we capture the attention of our scholars now, they are sure to have promising futures after!
