If fully funded, my project will help students acquire language skills at a faster rate by reading and listening to simple texts in English. This listening center will help them build a foundation for their literacy in years to come.
Students will be able to speak more confidently and will make more connections between what they hear in their audio books and what they see in print. This is especially important for a students who has a language different than English as their primary language.
Students at an early age are building their language skills, my listening center would be a great help for them in order to achieve this goal.
