My students enjoy problem-based learning activities that challenge them to be critical thinkers. A projector would allow my students to bring their projects and ideas to life. During Math time a projector will provide my students with an excellent visual of their fellow classmates’ math strategies as they model, demonstrate, and explain what methods they’ve used to solve math problems. In addition, a projector will enhance STEM lessons. My second grade class watches videos to learn about their STEM challenges and the concepts behind them. This tool will be used to project videos for the students as they are inspired to begin planning and creating models. In short, a projector will make learning more accessible and interactive for our classroom family.
