I have always been a firm believer of using flexible seating in the classroom. It empowers my students to take control and choose what works best for them as they do their independent or small group work. Flexible seating allows them to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand and that helps to increase the oxygen flow to their brains and keeps their young minds more alert and focused throughout the day.
I had noticed quite a number of my students like to roll their chairs around and of course, it's not safe while using the standard chair. So, for those students who just need to get their wiggles out, that is why the wobble chairs are a great alternative for them.
