Hamilton High School has approximately 3,000 students and is a Title 1 School, meaning that the majority of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Many of our students are confronted with challenges in their daily lives that can make it difficult to attend school on a regular basis. Many come from single parent households with inadequate resources; live in foster care or group homes; are exposed to poverty, violence and crime; and several must work in order to help support their families. These are just a few of the common barriers that Hamilton's students are faced with. Despite such barriers Hamilton High School students are inspired, intelligent, talented and creative. Hamilton is a school that instills pride in students, staff and community and our students deserve to be recognized for their demonstration of excellence in face of adversity!
