I am a 6th grade math and science teacher with the most amazing group of 6th grade students. They are artists, musicians, athletes, mathematicians, scientists, and technology enthusiasts. They are always so eager to use technology for learning, when given the chance. My students currently attend a large, Title I elementary school, where approximately 95% of the student population receives free or reduced lunch. Approximately 70% of my students are English Language Learners which can be challenging for them, especially when it comes to reading. In spite the challenges my students face, they have great determination and unlimited potential.
