Twenty-first century skills are an important part of learning and the future in libraries. Preparing students to become lifelong learners and readers is my number one goal. My students lack a lot of experiences that others have because of the area in which they live. Being able to provide them with a learning environment other than what they're used to is sure to get them motivated. My goal is to provide a welcoming environment where communication, collaboration, and learning take place. Literacy, information and digital literacy development will take place in the library.

About my class
