My students are amazing 11th and 12th graders who come to school daily with a plethora of challenges. Not only are they forced to confront a life of poverty, but they are also faced with the daily struggle of a disability. For many students, coming to school is a way to escape, for others, it is one way to ensure a stable, prosperous future.
Despite these limitations, my wonderful students always strive to do their best and be their best.
They work as hard as they can regardless of the daily struggles they face with disabilities, lack of resources at home, and difficulty reading and understanding grade level material.
My school is an amazing place where teachers work hard to educate and support all students. We do what we can to create an engaging learning environment where all students can achieve.
