Our school is trying to create a beautiful Learning Garden that we use to engage our students in inquiry-based and hands-on learning in an outdoor classroom setting. Through this wonderful space, students benefit from exposure to a natural, outdoor learning environment and gain an understanding of where their food comes from.
I will use the camera to photograph the children's artwork and document them working in the garden. All the gardening supplies we need will be used to grow seeds, work the garden beds and help our vegetables grow. The art room could use some materials as well. A rug for the children to sit on during instruction time or to read a book. Id like to put 2 bean bags in this area. It would be nice to have a nice comfortable chair to sit on while I read to talk to the children as well.
