These materials I've requested will help give a cheerful environment my kiddos need! I want my students to look forward to coming to Reading Resource. I want to give our low-income students access to all the fun things that come along with learning how to read and write, especially in my small group setting where there are a maximum of six (6) students per grade level in my class. I feel this is an investment in their future. The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. I don't want them to feel singled out in a bad way because they have to come to me for help in Reading. And believe me they don't! My students are sad when our 30 minutes together is over. I want my students to feel special. These supplies will help along with the LOVE I have for them. I especially want learning letter sounds and practicing writing the letters to be exciting for them to use on their very own Lakeshore Magic Boards. This will be fun for all my grade levels from Kindergarten thru 5th Grade! As for the chairs, this is going to be great for the students in the 3rd thru 5th grades as well as K thru 2nd! My 3rd thru 5th graders feel like they're sitting in "baby" chairs right now. I want the student to be comfortable while "Watching The Movie In Their Mind's"I love my students!
