I love teaching high school physical eduation, but I work with a large population of low-income students that do not have access to proper equipment. Because of the financial limitations on our school, our students are drawn more to sports that are more economically feasible like soccer, basketball, and volleyball.
Being able to add valuable equipment to our department would allow for our Physical Education department to add units to teach that we have been unable to previously. Not only would this have a direct benefit in our Physical Education department, but it could find untapped potential for our Athletic Department.
