My students are a tapestry of diversity. They speak English, Amharic, Tigrinya, Arabic, Bengali, Mongolian, Spanish, Farsi and many other languages. Students may be from our metropolitan area or from countries from all over the world. Many families are hardworking but lack the income for enhanced technology that many now take for granted.
In addition, about fifty percent of my students have various special education needs which include accommodations for sensory input, small group instruction, and adaptive technology. The school is a hub for the local community and offers an education that is truly at the forefront of public education in this country and abroad.
