In this day and age, students wiggle! They are constantly moving! Whether it's leaning back in their seats, bouncing up and down, tapping their feet, and so much more. Allowing students to do so, with appropriate furniture, enables them to keep their minds engaged in the classroom while also letting their wiggles out.
Along with their desire to wiggle, my students what math to be fun and engaging!
The books I have added to this project, help me to embed literacy into our math units. Students love to listen to stories at all ages! Providing what we learn in class in a "story-book" version also me to reach students who may not understand the topic originally.
