We are hoping to fund a Wheelchair Activity Swing Platform that has a permanent frame for our wheelchair users to enjoy the thrill of swinging, feel to wind on their face and receive beneficial vestibular stimulation at the same time. This wheelchair swing will allow our students to feel the wind on their face as they swing to the stars! Much research studies has shown that even 20 minutes of outdoor play can significantly help all students’ concentration time and reduce symptoms of ADHD. This important addition to our outdoor play space will provide a multi-sensory, fun, and relaxing activity to play with all their friends.
