The Color Guard this year was a huge experiment. The main goals of the program were to complete our marching band presence at parades and to serve as a feeder program to the high school color guard. This experiment worked wonderfully; over 50% of the TOR color guard has committed to spinning with the WHS color guard competitively this coming fall.
70% of of these students will continue in the TOR program during the 2019 - 2020 school year. Due to this incredible growth, we now need to return the equipment the we borrowed to kick-start our program. A full set of 20 complete color guard flags will give my students ownership over their own equipment, and over the skills they are building both physically and socially.
