I teach in a high poverty area in which many students come from migrant families. The majority of my students are English Language Learners and have limited access to English print materials at home, such as books, periodicals or newspapers. Very few of my students have computers or access to the Internet in their homes. They lack exposure and access to nonfiction literature. My kindergartners are eager to learn. They are extremely grateful for any help you can give.
