When I was able to spend time with fourth grade students during my student teaching, I learned that they are eager and curious. They also love to learn! This year, I have changed grade levels, to third grade. I have learned even more about my students. Even when the odds are stacked against them, they never give up. Instead, they persevere and strive to be their best and do their best work. They have so much potential. I want to get them excited about math so that they continue to be successful in math and across all content areas.
