As I learn how to teach from home, I am learning how much I still need to learn! Fortunately, my fourth graders have been learning along with me, encouraging and inspiring me as they do their best to meet me in our daily Google Meets, turn in their classwork, and use all kinds of new technology and learning tools.
An iPad and Apple Pencil will give me a way to help my 4th graders who are struggling and don't have support at their homes. I will be able to give examples during math lessons and interact during discussions easily because of the use of the pencil. Right now, I am showing them decimal and fraction lessons by taping pennies up on a small white board! There has to be a better way!
