I teach AP Environmental Science, Environmental Science Honors Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany. I love science and want to pass that love on to my students. We explore real world connections, and do lots of hands on labs. I have a lot of students who are VPA, so we also do a lot of artsy assignments and projects. My classes have a wide range of students from different ethnic and financial backgrounds. I encourage them all to do their very best, and push them to succeed in whatever they choose to do. I love to fill my classroom with discussions, fun, memorable labs, laughter (my students don't think my bone jokes are humorous anymore!), all while teaching my students to love science and that no matter what they matter! Sometimes it's hard to teach the way I want because funding isn't there, and supplies are costly. I appreciate every donation made to my classroom no matter how big or small.
