Transitional Kindergarten has the youngest students we have had to date. My class will have up to 27 students turning 5 between September 1 to the next September 1. We will be learning how to share, socialization, and getting ready for Kindergarten. Our class will be planting the seed to become continuous learners.
Our classroom will have a wide variety of backgrounds, some with preschool experience and some with little to no academic knowledge. I need to make sure these little learners have the skills they need to make them ready for Kindergarten.
Our school has a range of social economic groups and diverse ethnicities.
