Our students have amazed us with their ability to learn new programs using Google Apps for Education. Currently we only have access to a computer lab one hour per week and 5 Chromebooks to share between two second grade classrooms . If we were able to have 5 Chromebooks in each of our second grade classrooms, we could use technology as part of our daily curriculum. Using Chromebooks with a small group will give the students individualized technology instruction. We can't wait to introduce them to new and exciting technology. The Chromebooks give us the capability to record video and audio. This is a great tool to use in providing the students with an authentic audience. In a world of advanced technology, we feel providing our students with opportunities to learn and grow with technology is essential.
