My name is Xochilt, this will be my fourth year teaching. I fell in love with teaching, after spending 3 years as a paraeducator in an SDC special education classroom. I spent two years as a resource teacher serving Tk-6 with the majority of my caseload being composed of students in a dual language setting.
This will be my fourth year teaching and I will be working in second grade in a challenging dual language immersion program. My students come from diverse backgrounds the majority of them from low socio-economic communities. I am thrilled about this change and cannot wait to start teaching and learning from this group of bright students.
