I teach English to both the low and high performing 9th grade students at my school. My school is a large charter school nestled among the warehouses of an Urban city in South Florida. The majority of my students are low income, minority students. Since my school is a charter school, students come from near and far in order to attend my school. Some of them take multiple buses, just for the opportunity to receive an education at my school. These students deserve the very best, and I'm here to ask for your help to assure that they do.
