This bad thing happened, and YET...
I don't know this YET...
I can't do it YET...
I did it, and YET, I can do more.
More than 96% of our students are Hispanic, 75% speak English as a second language or are still learning it, more than 60% are on Free and Reduced Lunch, some have lived in the country less than 5 years and YET all of them want to learn.
Then, again, I understand both their struggle and their drive, because both were mine as well when I arrived from Cuba as a child. YET, I have earned 3 college degrees and been privileged to teach for 25 years.
And, we're not even done YET.
