The goal of Decision Day is to recognize high school seniors for their post-secondary plans (military, trade/vocational school/ college) and promote a College Going Culture at our school. The materials I chose will be used to decorate the cafeteria for Decision Day and/or be given to students as prizes. The theme of this event is Pancakes & Props and it is a Decision Day Breakfast Celebration complete with food, fun, and prizes. Decision Day is inspired by the NCAA’s National Signing Day to reinforce that excellence in the classroom should be given as much pomp and circumstance as excellence in athletics.
