Our school library serves students who live in one of the most culturally and economically diverse areas in the world! They are full of potential, highly multicultural, and curious about how they fit into the world around them. This project will serve all students at grade levels 9-12 with yoga and social emotional learning (SEL) opportunities. Many high school students are dealing with typical teen stress, as well as pandemic recovery. I would like to give them tools to help manage the pressures they may encounter on their journey through high school and beyond through yoga and meditation.
Student Quotes:
**"When you feel relaxed, your mind feels relaxed, and it frees your mind to help you think more efficiently." 12th Grader
**"After meditation, I just feel light. It feels nice." 11th Grader
