I work in a school where at least half of the students are low-income and qualify for free/reduced lunch.
This will be my second year with this wonderful class since I have been working with them since Kindergarten.
I have a very energetic class so we take brain breaks often. During our brain breaks, we incorporate music, dancing and movement into it. My students love to work together as well as individually. They love learning from each other and teaching others as well.
My students will be working a lot on independence (since they are coming in from Kindergarten), self-expression and reading this year.
