I teach a three-year Media Arts pathway where students are encouraged to both create and respond to, a wide variety of modern media. The study of Comic Books has proven to be a popular unit that I believe is an effective means of promoting literacy.
Whether students will continue distance learning or not, I want to ensure that they will experience the highest quality education possible.
With Batman: Year One, students will discover an origin story that has heavily influenced the depiction of Batman over the last 30 years, and apply their knowledge to other works of art.
