My students are inner city bilingual children that attend an urban school district in northern New Jersey. Although they are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom due to their socioeconomic status and their varying linguistic abilities, they enjoy coming to school everyday.I currently have a group of 20 bilingual second grade students in a dual language one way classroom.
They are an energetic, inquisitive, and hard working group of students that have many challenges, but despite that they still come to school excited and ready to learn!
