I'm a School Counselor at Fienberg-Fisher K-8 Center. The school is part of Miami-Dade District Public Schools. It is a Title1 school and 86% of students receive free or reduced lunch. My goal this year is to incorporate a comprehensive school counseling program which target areas in academics, careers, health & social/emotional development. The Donors Choose projects I post here will focus on these particular areas in order to help the students build a strong foundation in their psychosocial and educational development. The Counseling program will include school wide activities that bring awareness to school attendance, parental involvement, increase school safety, and promote a positive school climate. Please help me fund my projects this year! Thank you.
