Throughout the day, we support learning, communication, behavior, and daily living skills, often all at the same time. Having the Alabama Alternate Standards Bundle has helped us meet these many needs while still providing meaningful academic instruction.\r\n\r\nThis resource has given our classroom a clear, consistent plan for what to teach. Because the lessons are already aligned to Alabama Alternate Achievement Standards and offered at multiple levels, we are able to quickly adjust instruction to meet each student where they are. This allows students to engage in learning that feels achievable and purposeful, even on days when their needs require extra support.\r\n\r\nMany adults work with our students each day, including paraprofessionals and staff who are new to the classroom. This curriculum has made a big difference by giving everyone the same roadmap. No matter who is teaching, students receive consistent instruction and support, which helps them feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, this resource has allowed us to spend less time creating materials and more time focusing on our students. We are able to build stronger relationships, support independence, and celebrate progress, big and small. Because of this project, our students have access to structured, meaningful learning experiences that support their growth and help them move closer to their individual goals.","fullyFundedDate":1758306387917,"projectUrl":"project/special-education-complete-functional-cu/9673995/","projectTitle":"Special Education Complete Functional Curriculum","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hawkins","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10237293_orig.jpg?crop=869,869,x0,y23&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756825004356","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10237293"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_16042","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":344,"numTeachers":22,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":87,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":10,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"15.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":52.0,"schoolId":16042,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Midfield Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Midfield Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/alabama/midfield-city-school-district/midfield-elementary-school/16042"}
