Having access to new and exciting toys makes a tremendous difference. These materials encourage interaction, pretend play, and the sharing of ideas—all essential for language development.\r\n\r\nSince receiving this donation, we've seen a wonderful increase in verbal engagement. The students are talking more with each other and with us during play. The dramatic play areas have been especially popular—they loved checking everyone's temperature in the pretend doctor's office and preparing meals for the whole class.\r\n\r\nThe blocks inspired cooperative building, helping them work and communicate together.
