For the past several years, our school has gone without a yearbook, leaving a gap in our school culture and a missing piece in our students' history. Because of you, that silence has been broken, and our hallways are buzzing with the excitement of capturing memories again.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for the students has simply been the \"professionalism\" of it all. They are incredibly proud to be working with high-quality tools that make them feel like real journalists and graphic designers. There is a palpable thrill when they upload a photo they took and see it slot perfectly into a page layout on the screen—it makes their work feel valid and permanent in a way that standard assignments rarely do.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving us the tools to tell our story. The students and I are so grateful for this opportunity. Students have learned how different types of paper (watercolor paper, drawing paper, mixed media) are best suited for different art materials and have had the chance to practice on all of them because of your donations. \r\nThey loved the project where they used the donated mixed media paper to create marker stippling drawings of animated characters. Your support has brought so much joy and opportunity to our middle school lunchtime.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the materials, lunch has been buzzing with creativity! We've been busy making even more bracelets, and your contributions allowed us to introduce a brand new skill: handweaving using looms! The students are absolutely thrilled with this new activity and are creating some fantastic woven pieces. The variety of crochet yarn colors has also been a huge hit, sparking even more imaginative projects - some students are trying to make little animals and figures. And the introduction of origami has added another dimension to our crafting, with students eagerly learning new folds and designs.\r\n\r\nIn the near future, we will focus on honing our crochet skills, with the goal of learning how to make blankets. Some students are motivated, and their enthusiasm has led to a wonderful idea: starting a service project in partnership with a local animal shelter. They are eager to crochet blankets that we can then donate to the dogs and cats at the shelter. This project will not only allow them to practice their new skills but also teach them the importance of giving back to their community.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in our students and providing them with these invaluable resources. Your generosity is making a tangible difference in their learning and allowing them to explore their creativity in meaningful ways.
