Thank you so much donors. \r\n\r\nMy school does supply headphones when we have funding, however they are very cheap and break often. Through this project, I received a class set of quality headphones. They are so much better than the cheap versions I've have in the past and not a single headphone has broken, I still have the full set. That is a miracle. These headphones get used on class videos, state testing, and benchmarks. \r\n\r\nThe other supplies have been used to make my Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2 workbooks. These workbooks help students with notetaking, problem practice, and on task behavior. The workbooks have fundamentally changed how I teach the class. It has helped them complete their math assignments and build problem solving skills all while using updated technology. The students are excited when they get to use the new digital TI-84 calculators compared to the older models. \r\n\r\nMy students are more engaged in class when they get to use LCD writing tablets for their classwork. They are excited to pull them out when they need to solve long multi-step algebra problems. It is difficult to engage students in math and these resources have definitely helped!\r\n\r\nThe laminating sheets and balloon pump have been used so much over the last years. I use the laminating sheets to make student work books, reusable classroom activities, and other classroom visual resources. The balloon pump has been used for multiple graduations, proms, dances, and pep assemblies. With the help of your donation I received new supplies for my classes. \r\n\r\nMost important I received cash and coin classroom sets. My financial literacy class uses these sets throughout the year to practice cash registry skills. They use these manipulatives throughout the year to increase their time and proficiency counting goals. They also use them to practice counting back money so that they could use those skills outside of the classroom. They love that they get to use physical \"money\" instead of simply using worksheets. This has greatly increased their confidence in working with money. \r\n\r\nSome of the other supplies have been used regularly throughout my classes. The yoga balls are used for students that need alternative seating for various reasons. The teacherspayteachers gift card was used to additional worksheets that help supplement the curriculum. \r\n\r\nI am working to build a classroom that is fully designed to support the needs of all learners.
