My 5th graders are currently programming the Bolts through an obstacle course using the Sphero block coding website. They are practicing measuring and determining angles to complete their program. Even some of my more behaviorally challenged students have been super focused on this activity and are finally feeling success. My Pre-K-2nd graders are coding the Code and Go Mouse Robots through mazes full of dangerous obstacles to get to the cheese. They LOVE this activity! This helps them with colors, counting, directions, and beginning programming. Even the preschoolers were able to do this by themselves once taught. \r\n\r\nSoon my sixth graders will begin their project of coding the Sphero Bolt+ through a miniature golf hole they will design and build using paper and recycled materials.
