We were able to put the posts in, put the string around them and then lift the limbs and vines off the ground.\r\n\r\nThe amount of blackberries that are not only on the plants but what we have already picked is more that we have gotten off them since we planted them. The students are so excited and are now able to see where all the fruit is and keep an eye on it to see when it is ripe.\r\n\r\nWe did not get any pictures of us actually putting the post in because there were not enough of us to take pictures also. However, my students were so happy to be able to use the post hole digger, line up the post, and wrap the string. They were so gentle putting the vine on the string.\r\n\r\nThese are the small things that I am able to teach my students through your giving to my classroom. We have bees using the little water flowers. They love sitting out there talking and taking in the view of our garden. It really is peaceful out there. With the added decorations and pollination areas there is more life in the garden area. \r\n\r\nWe are looking forward to seeing how this helps with the fruit and vegetable production. We are very excited to see what a difference it will make to the area in the future. Many have a tough time working with others, so it is nice to see them working as a team. They are up and moving as they are doing it.\r\nThe alphabet cards are nice because we can use them as flash cards, but we also use them to play games. It makes it fun for our students. This is also helpful because with other types of flags sometimes a student doesn't know their flag has been pulled, but the \"POP\" noise makes it very clear.
