The students were very excited when they arrived and took turns getting to use the seats during their reading and center times. Each day when it's time for small group work, or independent reading, the first stop for most students is to be the lucky ones who get to sit in the cozy chairs. \r\n\r\nOne wouldn't think that just by adding cozy seats to the classroom, student engagement would go up, but it has! It is my hope to add more cozy seats to the classroom furnishing as soon as possible. I love seeing my students working together on the floor to collaborate and engage in their learning.
