When students are working on the Chromebooks a few sit on the couch for a more relaxed and comfortable experience. They don't fight over it, they take turns, and it has become a great staple in my classroom. \r\n\r\nSince I teach science, we preform a lot of labs. When preforming labs, we sit around the room. Students are about to get cushions to help with the uncomfortable hardness of the tile floor. I also had a student get injured this school year. We were able to practice team building skills with others in the class by working together to build different items. The magnet tiles were a hit with students who have mobility disabilities because they were so much easier to manipulate than smaller blocks like the legos, but they were still able to participate and work with a partner. \r\nSTEM learning helps students engage and explore an engineering way of learning.
