My students are very excited to read the How to Books in our classroom library. When we opened the box today their eyes lit up. They were intrigued by the pictures in the books. Thank you for being a part of our classroom and for helping improve our classroom library. \r\n\r\nThese books will have an impact on our classroom by helping the students have a creative side to them. The unique stories and awesome pictures will help keep the attention of the students. They are super excited to read the How to Books and experience the things in the books. \r\n\r\nI am going to love getting to read the books and trying to make the magic come alive in the classroom. I am going to put some of the books in centers and rotate them out with each season. The students will enjoy exploring the different settings in the books and exploring with each story. Every single book has been flipped through and loved by all my students. We have specially enjoyed the Mo Willems book set! The plushie Elephant and Piggie (the main characters of the book series) are so loved! You should have heard the gasp when I took them out of the box to show them. It was the sweetest moment and I thank you donors for allowing us to have such an exciting experience together! They absolutely loved opening all the packages of new books and toys for our classroom. \r\n\r\nWe have already read the entire set of the \"Pigeon\" book series by Mo Willems as a class. They love them so much! We had to read a couple of them twice and will probably read the rest a second time too! They laughed out loud at how silly the pigeon can be. You really have no idea how much joy you have brought to our classroom! \r\n\r\nOh don't let me forget to mention the amount of excitement the Legos have brought to every single student in my class. They are the perfect addition to our STEM center. Their little imaginations have been running wild with every Lego brick they snap together. The boys, in particular, get so excited when it is their turn at the Lego center. \r\n\r\nBecause of donors like you, teachers are able to spend their money on other things that are needed in the classroom. Your donations really take a lot of the stress of off us. You truly will never know the impact of your kindness! Thank you so very much for giving to my sweet little first graders. I told them the process of how we were able to get all of these amazing things for our classroom. I think they have learned a very important lesson about giving back and being grateful for everything that you have.
