The social-emotional journals and tools you provided have already made a meaningful impact on my students' daily routines. Each morning, my students begin their day by opening their journals, reflecting on their emotions, and setting personal goals. This simple routine has created a calm, structured start to our day and has encouraged even my quietest students to express themselves in a safe and healthy way. One student shared that writing in her journal \"helps my brain feel less crowded,\" which was such a powerful reminder of the value these materials bring.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new journals, fidgets, reflection tools, and calming materials, their faces lit up. Many of them explored the items right away, excitedly sharing with classmates which tools helped them focus or relax. Several students who typically struggle with transitions now reach for the tools independently, showing real growth in self-regulation. It has been wonderful to watch them recognize their own needs and choose appropriate coping strategies without prompting.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our next steps include weaving these journals into our weekly reflections, goal-setting activities, and small-group discussions. These resources will continue to support students emotionally, socially, and academically throughout the year. Your contribution has made our classroom a more mindful, supportive space—and my students feel seen, valued, and cared for because of you. Thank you for making such a lasting difference in their lives.","fullyFundedDate":1755868012166,"projectUrl":"project/building-our-best-selves-tools-for-a-st/9392284/","projectTitle":"Building Our Best Selves: Tools for a Stronger Classroom Community","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Looney","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9129328_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1748911036173","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9129328"},{"teacherId":8935518,"projectId":8898009,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donations to help fund headphones for my classroom.
