My students loved opening these new soft start materials and couldn't wait to get into our classroom each morning to get started on their choice! \r\n\r\nThese new choices gave so much more opportunities for my students to start their morning off in a positive and stress free way. The magnetic tiles allowed kids to build new things and they loved the cards that came with them to give ideas on new things to make. They absolutely loved using the Geoboards and it was amazing to see all of the things they made with those. One of the most popular choices was the magnetic sticks. Students loved to make new things and create a game to see who could build the tallest tower. The playdoh has always been a favorite and the new tools that we got made that choice even more popular. I loved seeing my students create new things and be so excited to show me what they made. Lastly, they adored using the stencils as a creative way to make pictures and letters for family, teachers and friends.","fullyFundedDate":1745847026110,"projectUrl":"project/stress-free-soft-start-mornings/9075901/","projectTitle":"Stress Free Soft Start Mornings","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Miller","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/megan-miller1"},{"teacherId":9047152,"projectId":8873852,"letterContent":"Our TK class is absolutely thrilled to have a Chromebook charger! The excitement was immediate as soon as we found out. Our Chromebooks are an essential part of our daily learning, and having a reliable charger means we can use them without worrying about a low battery interrupting our activities. Every day, we use our Chromebooks for fun, engaging lessons that help us build early literacy, math, and technology skills. Now, with a fully charged device, we can maximize our learning time and explore even more exciting activities. \r\n\r\nWith this charger, our Chromebooks will always be ready for important learning moments. We love using technology to reinforce our skills, whether it's practicing letter recognition, tracing letters, or playing interactive math games that help us count and recognize numbers. Our favorite activities include listening to stories, watching educational videos, and completing fun, hands-on challenges that encourage problem-solving and creativity. When our Chromebooks are charged, we can participate in small group learning, independent practice, and even whole-class activities without interruptions. This means more time for learning and fewer worries about devices running out of power. \r\n\r\nOne of the best things about having a Chromebook charger is that it allows us to take responsibility for our technology. We are learning how to take care of our devices by making sure they are properly charged and ready to use. Our teachers help us understand the importance of taking care of classroom materials, and having a charger gives us a chance to practice responsibility. We know that when we finish using our Chromebooks, we need to make sure they are plugged in and ready for the next time we use them. This helps us build good habits that we can use as we continue to grow and learn. \r\n\r\nWe are also excited about all the new opportunities this charger will provide. Now, we can spend more time exploring educational apps, practicing our letter sounds, and even working on activities that help us with fine motor skills, like tracing and dragging objects on the screen. We love using our Chromebooks to draw pictures, match letters to sounds, and complete digital puzzles that challenge our thinking. Having a charger means that we won't have to cut our activities short due to a low battery. Instead, we can focus on learning and having fun without any interruptions. \r\n\r\nOur entire class is so grateful for this charger because it helps make learning more exciting and accessible. We feel like we are growing as learners each day, and our Chromebooks are an important part of our learning journey. With a charged device, we can engage in lessons that make learning fun, interactive, and meaningful. Whether we are practicing letters, listening to a story, or working together on a digital project, our Chromebooks help us explore new ideas and develop important skills. Thank you for helping us keep our Chromebooks powered up so that we can continue to learn, discover, and grow every single day!","fullyFundedDate":1733243867596,"projectUrl":"project/chromebook-charger-for-the-classroom/8873852/","projectTitle":"Chromebook Charger for the Classroom!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. King","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9047152_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1728751093107","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9047152"},{"teacherId":4691479,"projectId":8457200,"letterContent":"Your contribution to my classroom and students is greatly appreciated. Due to your generosity, each student has a math toolbox. The math toolboxes are filled with wonderful math tools that support my students in their learning. In addition, the whiteboards allow them to solve problems more effectively and encourages collaboration. In our class, students work in groups around the classroom to solve real world math problems. These whiteboards enable groups of students to work around the room to solve problems while collaborating with peers. The beaded number lines are a class favorite. Students use them to skip count, to solve addition and subtraction problems, to understand place value, and to round numbers to the nearest 10 and 100.\r\n\r\nMy students love the tools, and were very excited to get their own math tool box. As stated above, the beaded number lines are a favorite. They provide a visual representation for students to learn math concepts. In addition, students enjoy using the Dice in Dice to play games while practicing their multiplication math facts. \r\n\r\nAs we move on to the next math concept, these math tool boxes will continue to be used. They will help me provide individual and small group intervention on the math concepts that students still need extra support. In addition, students will continue to practice multiplication math facts using the Dice in Dice. Further, students will use the tape measures when they learn fractions and measurement. \r\n\r\nOverall, these toolboxes offer valuable tools for students throughout the school year by providing students a concrete and visual representation of most math concepts taught in 3rd grade.","fullyFundedDate":1729622712748,"projectUrl":"project/math-tools/8457200/","projectTitle":"Math Tools","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Petures","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4691479_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1538361271986","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4691479"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_28215","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":793,"numTeachers":28,"percentFrplEligible":22,"percentAsian":17,"percentBlack":4,"percentWhite":25,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":36,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"28.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":90.5,"schoolId":28215,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Marsh Creek Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Marsh Creek Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/brentwood-union-elementary-school-district/marsh-creek-elementary-school/28215"}
