These resources supported over 60 at-promise students this year, helping us create a more supportive, engaging, and wellness-centered learning environment.\r\n\r\nThe pulse oximeters were used to monitor students' oxygen levels and heart rates, giving both students and staff real-time insight into physical and emotional wellness. This tool became an integral part of our trauma-informed practices, allowing us to better support students during moments of stress, dysregulation, or anxiety.\r\n\r\nThe addition of the mailbox cubbie bookcase provided each student with a personal, organized space for their belongings. For many of our students who face instability outside of school, having a dedicated space in the classroom fostered a sense of ownership, belonging, and respect.\r\n\r\nThe indoor hydroponic plant growing set became a therapeutic and educational tool, as students cultivated herbs while learning about plant science, responsibility, and care. Tending to the herbal garden gave students a calming, hands-on activity that supported their social-emotional development and provided an opportunity for mindfulness and teamwork.\r\n\r\nThanks to these generous contributions, our students experienced greater engagement, improved self-regulation, and a deeper connection to their learning environment. On behalf of our entire staff and the students we serve, we sincerely thank you for investing in the lives of our youth and helping us build a classroom rooted in healing, growth, and opportunity.","fullyFundedDate":1730964772635,"projectUrl":"project/promoting-mental-health-and-wellness-in/8915115/","projectTitle":"Promoting Mental Health and Wellness in CCDS","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Deocales","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9823633_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1730510555262","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9823633"},{"teacherId":9824182,"projectId":8916163,"letterContent":"My students and my colleagues wanted me to thank you for your donation.
