We are still using the markers your donations provided, and the students cannot get enough of them! I have to remind them that we have other materials as well, but the Posca markers are everyone's absolute favorite.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, students each have their own hardcover sketchbook to use for their art journaling. There are specific assignments and sometimes specific materials that must be used, but whenever possible, they go for the Poscas, even if it's just to do the detailed work, lettering, or doodling. These high schoolers were so excited when I told them about the Posca donations, and please understand--my students do not get excited about anything at school very easily. When the shipment arrived and they saw the variety of colors and sizes that they now had to work with, many of them were bug-eyed and giddy. Now, months later and with a new school year underway, the Poscas are still the markers that everyone (literally!) gravitates toward.\r\n\r\nWhat these markers have done is improve student engagement and creativity. They make the 'work' more fun and satisfying. These students are enjoying their experience much more due to your generosity in funding these markers.","fullyFundedDate":1740678554045,"projectUrl":"project/trauma-informed-art-journaling/9123911/","projectTitle":"Trauma-Informed Art Journaling","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Koliva","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9928386"},{"teacherId":9829939,"projectId":8928175,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donations that have provided the therapists in our district new tools to use with the students.
