Originally, I did not choose snacks, but when some of the items I ordered were unavailable, I picked some snacks for the kids. The snacks were ready and waiting for us when we came back from our Winter Break. With most students feeling tired and having to get used to their routine after three weeks of vacation, the snacks were a great energy boost. Thank you for filling their tummies on some cold winter mornings. \r\n I would also like to express my appreciation for the items. The puzzles, the STEM manipulatives, and the model magic. Currently we are using the Crayola Model Magic to a relief map of California. When I presented the task their was a loud \"Yaaaaaay!\" that could be heard throughout the classroom and out the door. Having the students physically form the shape of California works another part of their brain and makes more connections than just staring at a map. The model magic clay is wonderful. \r\n Thank you for being a Donor's Choose participant and making our classroom come alive. The stress balls and fidgets have helped keep calm hands. Using. The ten frame to help build and break apart number bonds on a larger scale has been really useful for a student. My students couldn't believe that all of these things were for our classroom and that a company donated to help keep us focused for math. \r\nThe highlight reading finger scanners have been a huge game changer for a student that would reread the same line multiple times.
