We have all learned so much since receiving the materials we requested. We were all excited to get our hands busy assembling and planting our seeds.\r\n\r\nAs we assembled our planters, we practiced our team-building skills. Communication and collaboration were essential for this. Meanwhile, we had one person reading the manual and giving instructions on what to do, we had another classmate grabbing the correct pieces to assemble. Others focused on assembling and everyone brought the support and encouragement. Overall, we had a great time working together bringing this project to life.\r\n\r\nIn the upcoming months, we will collaborate with the rest of our school to maintain our garden. We will teach our youngest scholars on site to care for our garden by not pulling on the plants. We have an Eco Club on site that will be composting leftover lunch food and providing nutrients to our soil. We hope to grow vegetables in the spring and share with our community.\r\n\r\nWe thank you once again for your generosity.
